CVMI (Central Valley Missionary Institute)
We are changing our name for our Institute studies to better reflect our objective: our aim is to help our churches raise up harvest workers and leaders for our local church fields of the association (and beyond). Our current classes end the week of Thanksgiving and new classes will begin again in January. We will announce the new courses being offered later this month. We are adjusting course fees to $25 per class for 2012 plus the costs of any required texts for the studies (we try to minimize these costs).

New Church Annuals for 2012

Please contact the CVBA office to reserve use of one these.

938 PRAYER PLAN

LOOK(John 4:35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.)
ACT (James 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.)
NEVER GIVE UP PRAYING(Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.)

Prayer for Sister Churches (P4SC)Prayer for sister churches in the Central Valley Baptist Association (P4SC) is taking place each Sunday in our churches of the CVBA. We are asking each of our churches to lift a single church in prayer each week (name/info. on each church is sent out monthly).

One thing you can be certain about in the coming year is that you can't be certain about what is ahead. This is a great blessing, because you do not need to know. To know what is ahead and the details of what will happen would be too great a burden to carry and too great a responsibility to bear.

What you do need to know about the future is not what is ahead of you, but Who is ahead of you. It is the Lord who goes before you, is ahead of you, and is preparing the way for you. Your future is in His sure, strong, caring hands.

I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you. Genesis 28:15 NLT

As you pass through the door of 2011 and enter the door of 2012, here are six of the needs you are certain to have...
1. There will be the need for prayer
2. There will be the need to trust
3. There will be the need to obey
4. There will be the need to forgive
5. There will be the need to be faithful
6. There will be the need for Jesus
