On Saturday July 11th about 15-20 volunteers put on their gloves and their work boots to help the Olympic Church in Modesto to do some major roof work. They headed over to the church at about 6am with their crow bars, hammers and pry bars to get started. A lot of work and most of the morning was put into removing shingles from the main roof and the nearby shed roof. They were blessed by some of the congregation who provided a much needed lunch for all the volunteers. With work complete and sore muscles, volunteers headed home about 2:00pm.
THANK YOU to all who volunteered their time and hard work on this project! Also, THANK YOU to those who headed up this project and those who served food to volunteers.
